I started this whole thing as a passion project in school, trying to find a basic way to play ball hockey with my friends on a consistent basis. So in the summer of 2009 I took my first step into organized sport and founded the White Rock Ball Hockey league in partnership with the City of White Rock.

So in the summer of 2009 I took my first step into organized sport and founded the White Rock Ball Hockey league in partnership with the City of White Rock.
Not really knowing what I was doing, our first season was hilariously rough. Over the years I have tried to finetune the organization through a lot of trial and error. More than 10 years later I find myself running this awesome little business, every year looking forward to it!
A big thank you goes out to everyone who has participated, spread word about the league, and helped it grow in their own little ways.

I grew up playing hockey and fell in love with the game. I started playing rep ice hockey through the Surrey Minor Hockey Association and played as a defence man there for 9 years and also played Delta minor ball hockey. Over the years of playing hockey, I’ve had the pleasure to play with some of the best players in my age group whether it be at the AAA ice hockey level or the Western Challenge Cup in ball hockey.

I’ve also enjoyed the other aspects of the game like referreeing, coaching youth, volunteering in tournaments, and assisting in any way possible with the White Rock Ball Hockey League. I’ve played in many hockey leagues and I am grateful for this opportunity presented to now manage the league. It’s been a pleasure working with Austin and the league for the past 5 years and I’m ready for a management role.
My career as a mobile mortgage specialist with TD Canada Trust and numerous injuries have limited my play but by having this managing role; I am able to help grow the game that I still love. If you’re ever at the rink, please come in and introduce yourself. I look forward to meeting you all and welcome you to one of the most competitive and fun leagues in the lower mainland!
