This registration is for team captains to register their team.  Please read below.

ADULT BALL HOCKEY REGISTRATION OPENs Nov 1ST!  

We are excited that we will be able to bring you another season of ball hockey!   Please check out the details below:

2027 Season Format: (Games to be played at Centennial Arena in White Rock, 14600 North Bluff Road & Sungod Rec 7815 112 Street, Delta, BC V4C 1S5) Two new arenas will be added into our rotation as well TBD, Rinks will be in the Surrey/Delta Area.

• Season runs April 1st - August 8th, 2027
• No games on Saturdays or Holidays
• Games will be held MON-FRI, SUN.  NO GAMES on Saturdays.
• 12 Game Regular Season
• 6-8 Team Divisions (Top Two teams may get a first round bye.)
• Max 20 players per game including goalie per game.  19 Runners and a goalie.
• Individual & Team Stats
• Up to 7 Divisions (A & B & C & D & E & F & G)
• Non-Contact League (CSA Helmet & Hockey Gloves Mandatory)
• Games are an hour (Two 22 minute periods, 5 minute warm up, 5 minute OT period) Stop Time last two minutes if game is within 2 goals. 5 min OT period is tie breaker (3 on 3 - only change on the fly) 
• NEW - last minute of 1st period is now STOP TIME
• Season Team Cost is $3476.19+GST.  Deposit of $600.00 to be E transferred to admin@wrbhl.com upon registration.  Payment by Credit card accepted for your deposit as well.  Total Price is $3,950.00 including taxes.

Team Acceptance Dates are as follows: January 12th, January 26th, February 9th, February 23rd, March 9th, March 23rd.  Your team needs to have at least 15 players registered on the roster to be accepted.

We will try to accommodate everyone for joining this year but spots will be limited.

Once your team is registered, you just need to put down a non refundabledeposit of $600.00 which will be credited to the total cost of the team.  The remainder of the cost must be paid for in cash in person during the captains meeting, date tbd.  If you wish to pay by Credit card we can arrange that, however there will be an additional 3% charge.  We have added the option for teams to pay their registration deposit at registration.  Of course if our season is cancelled or your team is not accepted, your deposit will be refunded.

2027 Team Captain/Team Rep Package:

All teams will receive a team grant for the season which will include:

1. A set of team warm up balls
2.  Team bag/cooler
3. A full season worth of team sign in Sheets

2027 Competitive and Rec Divisions:

For the 2027 Season, the divisions will be split into two separate categories: Competitive and Recreational Divisions.  Competitive Divisions (Divisions A, B, C, D) will be eligible to move onto the Coastal Championships July 24th - 26th, 2027.  Other details below:

Competitive Divisions - A, B, C, D

• Competitive Divisions will end their season by July 19th
• Playoff Games MAY NOT be Guaranteed, bottom 2 teams in each Div will be eliminated (only the Top 4 or 6 teams in the division will get playoff berths) - details to be ironed out at the Captain's meeting.
• All Playoff Series are a full best of 3 series
• Team roster of 30 players must be submitted before season starts.   Players need to dress for 5 games to qualify for playoffs.
• If you are rostered, you are on the team.  Teams are dived based on your roster - subs are considered as full time players in tiering.
• Players can only play for 1 team PER Division.  Up to 4 teams.
• Best Regular Season team and Playoff Champion in each division will get a berth into the Coastal Championship Tournament.  A total of 2 berths per division.  
• Players in these Divisions will be required to purchase a Coastal Hockey Membership.  One annual membership only, if you play for multiple competitive teams you do not need to buy more than one membership.  

Recreational Divisions - E, F, G, H*

• 2 Playoff Games Guaranteed (All Playoff Series are a full best of 3)
•  Team roster of 30 players must be submitted before season starts. Players need to dress for 5 games to qualify for playoffs.
• Players who play on a Competitive Division team CANNOT play in the LOWEST DIVISION
• There is no team limit for players
• Division G and H (whatever is lowest), is meant for beginners

FORFEIT / PLAYER FINE DEPOSIT :  This money is NOT part of your league fees.

All Teams MUST pay a forfeit/fine deposit of $500.00 in cash to be able to participate.  To be submitted at the Captain's Meeting.

It is returned to you at the end of the season if you don't have any forfeits or fines.
Any team who forfeits a game will also forfeit $200 to the team who lost their game.  We will discuss this at the captain's meeting as well.

This money is NOT part of your league fees.

SEASON DATES

Season runs April 1st - August 8th - including Playoffs

Game times: Earliest start time will be 7PM on Weekdays, Latest start time is 10:15PM.

No Games on Holidays/ Saturdays:

• We Do Not Play May Long Weekend (May 21st-24th)
• We Do Not Play Canada Day Long Weekend (No games on July 1st-3rd)
• We Do Not Play BC Day Long Weekend (No games on July 30th-August 2nd)

NUMBER OF TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE : 

At this time we have room for 45~65 teams (hopefully more) to participate, although this is subject to change depending on floor time allocated to our league.  We will decide on what teams get to play by the following:

1.  History with the league. We have some teams who have been playing with us for 10+ years. Those teams will keep their spot as long as they want them and they continue to abide by the following criteria of the league. 

2.  Team's Play within the league. Does your team bring any trouble to the rink?: 

• team financial issues or attendance issues ( forfeits ) 
• discipline issues ( players with a history of suspensions ) 
• facility respect ( people who trash the rink and disrespect the place or do not pick up after themselves in the parking lot )
• teams with fake id’s / roster issues / etc.

3. Your Roster - We have lots of teams who want to play. Some of those teams are made up of guys who already play on 1 or more other teams. In the best interest of having more people play, we are trying to focus on teams with unique rosters. 

4. Divisions -  We want the divisions to be competitive and that promote good hockey.  Some divisions allow new teams to get in and some don’t.  If you have won last season - your team will be automatically placed in a div higher than last year.  

5. Player Registration - Players will be able to register for their teams right away this season.  So as soon as your team is registered, let your team know to sign up.  Teams that have full or complete rosters will have a greater chance of getting in.

REFUND POLICY FOR THE 2026 SEASON: 

League fees and deposits collected are a non refundable purchase.
Only In the event of a forced / mandatory closure of the facility will funds be returned.
You will be refunded teams $150.00 X the number of regular season games missed in the season.
