This registration is only for White Rock Minor Ball Hockey Players who are playing with the association during the 2025 season.

Western Challenge Cup and BC Cup 2025 - For those new to Ball Hockey, these tournaments are the highest level of Minor Ball Hockey available to each association.  Normally we just attend WCC as it is usually based in BC, the largest province for ball hockey in western Canada.  However this year it is in Saskatoon and we will not be forcing teams to make the trek out there if they do not want to.  In lieu of this, the BC associations have come together to create the BC Cup which will be held in Victoria from July 4-6th.  More info to follow about the BC Cup.  Information on WCC can be found here: https://www.canadaballhockey.ca/en/page/2025_western_challenge_cup.html

Whether these teams we create want to go to BC Cup only or attend both will be up to each individual team.  Our goal is to attend the BC Cup at least with these teams.  Last season White Rock headlined one team with some of our players joining Delta and New West. This season we will be creating solely White Rock Based Teams in the following Divisions:

1. U11 Division - Players born in 2014, 2015 (may include players born in 2016) - Coach Vacancy
2. U13 Division - Players born in 2012 and 2013 - Head Coach Kevin Gilbert
3. U15 Division - Players born in 2010 and 2011 - Head Coach Ambaay Samrai
4. U17 Division - Players born in 2008 and 2009 - Head Coach Gurj Nijjar

You will notice that the birth years do not align with the seasonal teams that we run - this is not a mistake, it is just how they run things for CBHA events.  We encourage all players interested in trying out to attend, placements will be competitive as there are limited spots on each team.  Tryouts for these teams will be as follows:

May 10 @ Centennial:

6:45pm - U11 Tryout Open

7:45pm - U13 Tryout Open

8:45pm - U15 Tryout Open

May 31st @ Centennial:

5:30pm - U11 Tryout Call Back

6:30pm - U13 Tryout Call Back

7:30pm - U15 Tryout Call Back

8:30pm - U17 Tryout

Practice/exhibition games for these teams will be in June during the week.  If you are trying out, you must be prepared (If you make the team) to attend every game during the tournament as posted, make every practice, and be prepared to travel to Victoria.  These teams come with an additional cost per player as well.  A sign up form for tryouts will be forwarded to our coaches.
