Minor Ball Hockey Season Comes to an End!

Our 2024 season has officially come to an end!  I wanted to send off a final email to summarize our exciting 2024 season!

After a full long weekend at Provincials, we are beyond excited to announce that three of our teams have medaled!  This marks the first time in our association's history that we have brought home such results from the provincial tournament!  And in only our second year competing as well!

Further our participation in the Coastal Ball Hockey Championship Tournament brought more accolades:

Out of our 11 teams competing, 8 of our Teams brought home medals!  Including Gold Medals from our U9 Raptors, U11 Mariners, U15M, and U17 teams! Silvers from our U11 Black and U13 Mariners!  And Bronze Medals from our U13 Lightning and U15 Pacific teams!

With or without the championship wins, this season has been one of growth including our largest membership ever in the minor program and a great buy-in by the players and the parents!  We still have a lot of things to iron out and tweak as we go into next year; our board has already identified many issues including team composition, game and practice schedule construction, and overall improvement of our newer programs such as WCC.  We appreciate everyone's support and patience as we continue to make White Rock Minor one of the premier associations in BC Ball Hockey!  If you have any feedback that you would like to give or would like to help out next year in a bigger role, please reach out to us!
